Shoreline Cleanup

In July 2026, we will carry out a cleanup campaign at the Beirut Shoreline. The campaign will bring together volunteers who will work side by side to collect waste, reduce pollution, and raise awareness about the importance of preserving shared natural spaces for the community.

Shorelines are a public space where people connect with the sea, spend time outdoors, and enjoy one of the few open coastal areas in the city. Protecting this space is essential for both the environment and the community, especially as coastal pollution continues to affect public areas, marine life, and the overall cleanliness of Lebanon’s shoreline.

During the cleanup, volunteers will focus on removing litter from the area and supporting a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment for visitors. The initiative will also highlight the importance of responsible waste disposal and encourage people to take better care of public spaces.

The campaign reflects the power of collective action. By bringing volunteers together around a shared environmental goal, we aim to show how small actions, when done collectively, can create visible impact and inspire others to take responsibility for their surroundings.

Through this shoreline Cleanup, we continue our commitment to protecting public coastal spaces, promoting environmental awareness, and encouraging community participation in building a cleaner and greener Lebanon.
